PUBLIC SAFETY

Stronger Communities Are Safer Communities

We live in a small town with sometimes big city safety issues. Your Public Safety is my top. I firmly believe in “Stronger Communities Are Safer Communities.” We can do this together.

  • Establish a Public Safety Stronger Communities Commission

  • Collaborate and partner with Sutter County Administration and Board of Supervisors, Sutter County Sheriffs, Sutter County Fire Services, Sutter County Emergency Services and Ambulance

  • Communicate, engage, and inform Live Oak residents about public safety

Live Oak is a close-knit community where many of us know each other. Although we face safety challenges, having a voice representing YOU, your families, your community, and your businesses is important. By working together, we can create stronger, safer communities.

WATER RESOURCES

Resourceful Water, Bright Future

Sustainable water supplies are essential for our community, agricultural industry, and businesses. Clean and safe drinking water is vital for all of us—better plans and actions on water supplies and sustainability for future years.

  • Ensure affordable, clean, and safe drinking water

  • Address water quality and aging infrastructure issues

  • Secure sustainable water for the agriculture industry and Live Oak residents

Let’s take proactive steps to protect our precious water resources. Address aging infrastructure with state and federal grant funds. Work on water conservation initiatives and collaborate with a more robust focus on climate change issues.

PARKS & RECREATION

Healthier Communities, Happier Lives

Our parks are the heart of Live Oak, where children, families, and the community gather to play, BBQ, celebrate birthdays, and host events — making our community parks beautiful, accessible, and safe, essential to bringing the community together. Let’s work on these together.

  • Repair and modernize the community pool

  • Maintain and develop new community gardens

  • Initiate and implement Garden Glen Park near Luther Elementary School

  • Engage and support community development eventsre Services, Sutter County Emergency Services and Ambulance

By doing this together, we can create and enhance our parks and recreation and help our community become healthier and happier.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Thriving Businesses, Thriving Community

A thriving local economy is the foundation of a strong community. Our location is perfect for attracting and retaining businesses, and this will ensure economic growth and prosperity for Live Oak businesses.

  • Create a business-friendly environment through tax incentives and cutting red tape.

  • Collaborate and partner with the Yuba Sutter Economic Development and other regional organizations

  • Promote workforce development programs and focus on skilled trades jobs and training opportunities

Let's build a prosperous future by fostering economic growth and supporting local businesses.
